Spring/Summer

In the spring and summer boaters and fisherman return to the historic waters of Lake Champlain whether by sail, motorized craft, canoe, kayak, windsurfer to fish, explore and recreate on the clean cooling waters. The state boat launch is minutes away and docks are free to our overnight guests.

And, for those preferring terrestrial pursuits there is hiking, biking, climbing, birding in one of the nation's largest protected wildernesses-The Adirondack Park. Golf and tennis are minutes away. Guests can also take advantage of the many nearby cultural and historical venues and natural wonders. Lake Placid and Burlington, Vermont are just an hour away so take a delightful drive through the mountains or a ferry ride to Vermont. Or, if relaxation is your pleasure then dip your toes in the water, feel the fresh breeze in your hair, enjoy the magnificent sunsets or just watch majestic sailboats glide by or swing gently at anchor down at our shoreline in one of Lake Champlain's premier anchorages.

Fall/Winter

The action doesn't stop when the cold winds blow. The Spectacular Adirondack fall foliage attracts visitors near and far. The fun really starts when the lake freezes and the snow falls. The Adirondacks turn into a winter wonderland. Cross country ski or snowshoe on the lake or thorough the woods and hiking trails throughout the area, but if speed is your passion try down hill skiing at one of the Northeast's premier ski venues-Whiteface Mountain which is jus under an hour away. For the fishermen that can't stop there is ice fishing outside your door on Willsboro Bay, and of course, snowmobiling on the many maintained trails that crisscross the Adirondacks.
